Oktoberfest in the Garden is an event put on annually by the city of Sydney. The challenge was to create a colorful, vibrant and exhilarating design that stayed clear of all cliches and was welcoming to everyone. The result was inspired by embroidery and mosaic tiles from the original Munich festival in Germany, and combined with geometric shapes, to create this unique modern pattern.
